Mountain- 4-6-2

"MOUNTAIN 4-8-2"

Also known as "Bullet Nosed Betty's", these impressive, semi streamlined locos were fine examples of Canadian National's largest class of engines.....the 6000 series, which also included the 4-8-4 Northern types. This particular machine was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1944. It still exists today, fully restored, in Alberta, Canada.
