Royal Hudson
The Hudson Locomotive, with its 4-6-4 wheel configuration was popular with Canadian Pacific for passenger trains. With their semi-streamlined Bowen design they were very elegant. CP was given permission by the crown to use the "Royal" designation after they demonstrated their relaiblity during the 1939 Royal Tour of Canada. This particular engine is shown in recent decades when it was in use as a tourist train for British Columbia. Photo album created with Web Album Generator |
