"Fair Winds, Blue Skies" an original acrylic painting by Lance Russwurm of Carl Hiebert's historic trans-Canada Ultralight flight
"Fair Winds, Blue Skies"©1996
An original Acrylic Painting by Lance Russwurm

This painting shows an actual incident that occurred during Carl Hiebert's historic ultralight flight across Canada. After getting up to 11,000 feet in thermals over the rockies, a bald eagle effortlessly formated on his aircraft and, just as effortlessly, left him behind. This image was used as a full page illustration in Carl's best-selling book about his journey "GIFT OF WINGS"
