Nostalgia
"Waterloo" By Lance Russwurm ©1993, private collection What can I say? It's my home town. I grew up in this picture. We're looking down Albert Street from Erb Street. The old city hall (demolished in 1969) is in the left foreground. Next is the old fire hall, then the Waterloo Farmer's market. (demolished in 1964 to make way for the present Waterloo Public Library). On the far right is our original Carnegie Library ( amazingly, it's still there, currently the home of Habitat for Humanity).
