Lance Russwurm For this project I chose Bygone scenes around Stratford that hopefully would bring back pleasant memories for the residents here. Some of these memories were related to me while I painted the mural and were incorporated into the design! A C.N. locomotive figures prominently in the picture because, for most of its history, Stratford was an important Railroad Center. To the seniors, the Stratford Festival, for which the city is internationally known, is very much a johnny-come-lately affair.
