Vehicles Automotive subjects will always fascinate me. Especially the classic cars. They all have personality galore. I have so much fun trying to capture the endless interplay of light on metal.
"Jaguar SS 100" © 2000 by Lance Russwurm (private collection) I have always had a soft spot for old Jaguars. They were certainly as elegant as any automobile ever made. This painting shows the hood ornament of one of the first cars to bear the "Jaguar " name, the 1936 SS Jaguar 100, so named because of its supposed top speed.
